Dan specializes in preparation for the SAT and ACT, as well as academic support for math, biology, and chemistry.
Dan is a test prep and academic support tutor who is passionate about helping students acquire new knowledge, build confidence in test-taking strategies, and achieve their academic goals. After graduating summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Sociology, he worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. in San Francisco, focusing on business strategy and operations for various clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. He is currently an M.D. candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City as part of the class of 2025.
Dan has tutoring experience across a wide range of ages and focus areas. During college, he worked as a private tutor in ACT, SAT, and subject SAT prep, in addition to working as a college application counselor; students of his have received admission to schools like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. He wholeheartedly believes that tutoring should be dynamic, individualized, and engaging, and he enjoys tailoring lessons to every student’s lives and interests.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys exploring the New York City food scene, traveling, running, and skydiving in the Catskills (as a licensed coach, he is qualified to “tutor” you in skydiving, as well!).
