11th Grade Roadmap: Get Ready to Apply to College

As 11th grade comes to a close, students in the class of 2027 will need to shift their focus from preparation to application. The summer before 12th  grade is a critical time in the college admissions process, offering students the opportunity to make meaningful progress before application deadlines begin to pile up in the fall.

Join IvyWise college admissions counselors Kayon (formerly at MIT) and Tasha (formerly at BU and USC) for a comprehensive overview of what you should be doing as you transition from 11th grade into 12th grade. Kayon and Tasha will discuss how to make the most of the summer; finalize a balanced list of best-fit colleges; begin work on the Common Application; and start developing thoughtful, authentic essays. You will learn how to approach senior year with clarity, confidence, and a strong plan in place.
