Robert specializes in academic support for SAT, ACT, science, math, and other pre-medical subjects.
Robert earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, where he studied Neuroscience and Medicine, Health, and Society while conducting research in translational research in radiation oncology and neuroscience. He went on to work in biotech industry roles before pursuing his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.
Robert has been tutoring and mentoring students of all ages for many years, with expertise spanning biology, chemistry, neuroscience, math, and pre-medical preparation. He has also coached students through SAT, ACT, and subject test preparation for college applications.
He tailors his approach to each student’s learning style and finds particular satisfaction in helping students develop not just subject mastery, but also genuine curiosity for the material. Robert recognizes that succeeding on standardized tests requires more than content knowledge — it demands mastering the art of test-taking itself, and he makes sure to equip his students with the strategies and skills to do just that.
In his free time, Robert enjoys playing tennis, surfing, piano, painting, and going to concerts.
