Claire is a former Senior Assistant Director of Admission at the University of Chicago.
As Senior Assistant Director of Admission at the University of Chicago, Claire read thousands of applications from schools all across the United States. Her most recent territories included the DMV, Texas, and the American Southwest. Claire additionally supported in the athletic recruitment process as well as in reading transfer and summer admissions files.
Prior to her time in admissions, Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Bachelor of Science Statistics with Honors at the University of Chicago. More recently, Claire received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She comes from a family of educators and loves working with students to brainstorm essay ideas and help them identify their best-fit colleges.
As an IvyWise counselor, Claire focuses on helping students get motivated and organized around the college admissions process. She strives to help students find a healthy balance between their academic, extracurricular, and social obligations. Claire believes there is not a one-size-fits-all model for getting a student into their best-fit school and is always eager to meet a student and family wherever they are at in the college admissions process.
As a former college cross country and track athlete, Claire loves to spend her free time running and biking across the Twin Cities Area. Claire also loves reading, knitting, gardening, and exploring new coffee shops.
