Master College Admissions Counselor
Former Assistant Dean of Admissions,
Rachel specializes in students applying to competitive and/or highly selective schools and students interested in a wide range of schools.
Rachel is a former Assistant Dean of Admissions at Swarthmore College, a top-three ranked liberal arts college by US News, where she worked with prospective students and their families across the entire US.
Before she was the Assistant Dean of Admissions, Rachel started as an admissions counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Swarthmore, working with students across the Southeast and Midwest, and helping to build a strong freshman class year after year.
Prior to her work in college admissions at Swarthmore, Rachel was a City Year Corps Member where she served as a tutor, mentor, and college counselor for high school students. She then served another year in City Year’s recruitment office, where she helped recruit and mentor new corps members.
In her experiences at City Year and in the Office of Admissions at Swarthmore, Rachel has learned how to counsel and work with a variety of students, helping them to identify their passions and areas for growth. She enjoyed challenging students to dig deeper to find what makes them compelling in the admissions process.
In her free time, you can find Rachel cooking dinner with friends or singing music with her brother on stage.
