The 2014-15 Common Application is open for the Class of 2019! Unlike last year’s Common App, which was marred with technical difficulties through the final application deadlines, the application has seen a smooth first week, with more than 600 applications submitted on Aug. 1.
Making the transition from middle to high school can be an exciting, albeit intimidating process. Often times the student body is larger, and you’re a new fish in a much larger pond. For others the surroundings might be the same, but the academics are challenging and the expectations are much higher.
College is all about getting a great education that will serve as the building blocks for a successful career. At IvyWise, we encourage students to follow their passions – whether it’s science, art, music, business, or another area of study. Some students, however, have some “nontraditional” interests that often don’t fit into common majors.
In order to help students explore their passions and interests, many colleges have created cool – and odd – college majors. Here are some of Dr. Kat’s favorite colleges with wacky, weird, and super cool majors.
