For the past eight years, Peter has been working with high school age students on the ACT and SAT, as well as SAT Subject Tests. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley, he headed to the east coast to pursue a Masters degree and ultimately a PhD. As a PhD candidate at Brown University Peter taught various seminars in composition and literature for undergraduates and served as teaching assistant for lecture courses. In addition, each year, he teaches a college prep composition course during Brown University’s summer sessions for high school students. Currently, he’s finishing his PhD from Brown University, while living in New York City.
- Peter is currently finishing his doctoral dissertation on British Victorian novelist George Eliot and William Thackeray. His thesis focuses on the concept of sympathy in Victorian British novels and the ancient philosophical question – what counts as ‘the good life?’
