For the past eight years, Peter has been working with high school age students on the ACT and SAT, as well as SAT Subject Tests and academic subjects.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley, he headed to the east coast to pursue a Masters degree and ultimately a PhD. As a graduate student at Brown University, Peter taught various seminars in composition and literature for undergraduates and served as teaching assistant for lecture courses. In addition, he teaches a college prep composition course for Brown University’s summer sessions every year.
Having recently completed his PhD in English Literature, Peter now works and teaches in New York City.
- Peter wrote his doctoral dissertation on British Victorian novelists George Eliot and William Thackeray. His thesis focuses on the concept of sympathy in Victorian British novels and the classic philosophical question – what counts as ‘the good life?’
