Principal College Admissions Counselor

Ashley specializes in students interested in liberal arts schools, students seeking admission to competitive and/or highly selective schools, and recruited athletes.

Ashley is a former admission officer at her alma mater, Davidson College, where she earned a B.A. in Religion. Ashley received a Master of Education in Higher Education from Harvard University in 2012, where she was a Leadership in Education Scholar.

While at Davidson, Ashley recruited students, evaluated hundreds of applications for admission, and sat on college scholarship selection committees. Ashley has worked with a wide range of students, and understands what highly selective and liberal arts colleges are looking for in applicants.

Ashley also served as the liaison between the Office of Admission and the track and field and cross-country program at Davidson, where she further developed her knowledge of the college athletic recruiting process.

In 2009, Ashley co-founded a program for a non-profit in Washington, DC to assist highly motivated first-generation students through the college search and application process. The program, called LISTO, has served over 1,000 students to date.

Ashley also serves on the Board of Directors of Perry Street Prep Charter School and the Girls Gotta Run Foundation, both of which are based in Washington, DC. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, in addition to participating in running races ranging from 5ks to marathons.
