of Success
IvyWise has been in business for over 13 years and our team has over 100 years of combined experience. We have worked with thousands of students. In 2011, 92% of our students got into one or more of their three top choice schools and, in our entire 13-year history, only four students have ever transferred from their original school.
- Team-Based
Counseling
Every student receives the benefit of our entire team’s expertise. The team, comprised of recent directors of admissions as well as application readers from highly selective colleges, works together to review and give feedback on your student’s application essays, resume, and college list.
- Accessibility
IvyWise works with students in 33 different countries. We work in person (in New York or anywhere in the world), by phone, and by Internet video. Our online program, ApplyWise, allows the student, counselor, and parents to follow the student’s progress together, communicate, and collaborate 24/7.
- Relevant
Experience and Ongoing Professional Development
Our counselors regularly tour colleges, attend conferences, and keep up with the latest developments in admissions. We speak at industry conferences and to other professional organizations, and write and publish articles. We keep our fingers on the pulse of college admissions. Flexible payment options and the opportunity to upgrade or downgrade your student's program helps your family make the most of the IvyWise experience.
- Unique

Admissions is about more than just test scores and grades. Colleges and other schools want to meet students who will make a valuable contribution to the campus community. The IvyWise methodology empowers students to identify and utilize their strengths and interests to make an impact in their community.
- Individual

- Empowering
Students Beyond Applications
We help students with more than just admissions. The IvyWise process helps students identify and achieve their academic and personal goals, guiding them throughout their time in high school. We help students develop academic tools for lifelong success that will serve them in college and in the professional world.
- Full
Range of Services
In addition to admissions counseling, IvyWise has a team of master tutors to provide the most efficient and effective standardized test prep and academic subject tutoring. We can also pair you with athletic counselors, post-graduate counselors (gap-year counselors), learning disabilities specialists, and admissions counselors in other countries. Our expert research team can provide your student with customized, in-depth research on academic opportunities, summer programs, extracurricular activities, schools, and more. This research can guide your student in preparing for interviews, applications, campus visits, and essay writing, and also help your student identify the programs that will best match his or her interests and goals.
