Your kind and warm guidance along with times of strictness has been a tremendous benefit for [our daughter]. We definitely could not have done it without your cooperation, along with the support of [our counselor].

Daughter accepted Early Decision to Barnard College, Class of 2017
I truly wish every child and family could have the benefit of your great wisdom and centered approach to college admission...from the very start you understood her idiosyncratic qualities and appreciated them. Thank you again for helping [our daughter] achieve her dream to attend one of the world's greatest universities.

Daughter accepted Early Decision to Columbia University, Class of 2017
In an admissions world where 2400's and stellar letters of recommendation do not guarantee acceptance to a student's first choice school...IvyWise helped me set my best foot forward in the college process, for which I am eternally grateful.

Accepted as a Transfer Student for the Class of 2011
Jennifer joined the IvyWise team in February 2008, working individually with students on their writing skills.
Jennifer graduated with honors from New York University. She earned a Bachelor's degree from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study and designed her own concentration in Cultural Anthropology, Literature, and Creative Writing.
Jennifer was awarded the Elaine Kuntz Scholarship in Prose Composition for her outstanding written work as a freshman. Although she adored New York City, Jennifer also studied French language and culture for a semester in Aix-en-Provence. Upon graduation, she went back to her hometown of Houston to teach English to high school juniors. But she couldn't stay away for long. She recently came back to New York City to pursue her creative writing and is currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing.
Outside of IvyWise, Jennifer spends an inordinate amount of time absorbed in New York's film, literary, and music world. When not engaged in the above, she is often found seeking the Scrabble holy grail of a triple word score.
"We have no doubt that without the aid of Dr. Cohen, Scott Clarke and the rest of the IvyWise team, our son wouldn't have gotten into Harvard."
