He received his Bachelors Degree in economics from the University of Maryland in 1994 and earned his Masters Degree in school counseling in 1996 from Long Island University. As a result of his success as a counselor at Forest Hills High School and Herbert H. Lehman High School, he was named Counselor of the Year by the city of New York. Joe has counseled numerous students from both city and suburban environments, who were accepted to the nation‚s Ivy League and top colleges. Joe has visited a large number of campuses during his career and has a strong understanding of how to put your best application forward in a competitive college climate. Joe is a member of the Nassau Counselors Association, the National Association for College Admissions Counseling and the New York State Association for College Admissions Counseling.
