Heather joined the IvyWise team as an intern in September 2007, where she will be assisting in marketing, sales and counseling projects.
Originally from New Jersey, Heather graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in May of 2007 with a double major in Psychology and Dance. As a student, Heather was involved with the Dance Association, the Muhlenberg College Message Board, and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a National Leadership Honor Society in 2006.
Heather has had extensive experience working with admissions and students. She was a tour guide for four years and spent her senior year as an intern in the Muhlenberg Admissions Office. As an intern, she read applications for admission, interviewed candidates and coordinated the on-campus spring recruiting events. Also, she worked with an elementary school guidance counselor in her senior year. These experiences have motivated her to go into school counseling. Now, she is enrolled in New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development graduate program in the school counseling.
When she's not at IvyWise or studying at NYU, Heather enjoys spending time with her friends in her new hometown and finding opportunities to dance. She is looking forward to learning more about IvyWise in the upcoming months!
